It is not very close in that area. I have a crossover pipe and the exhaust runs out the passenger side. When I first installed the efi, I had a dual exhaust and it was close... so I insulated the fuel line in that area.

Couple of questions....
Marc.... what fan are you using? (electric) if I remember...
Jim.... The holes in your hood.... what are they over top of? any problems with water getting on the engine/wiring?

| not one complaint with the holes in the hood. othe rthan aesthetics it was one of the best mods i have done. you wou;ld not believe the amount of heat that comes out of those holes. the eng. never ran hot but the under hood temps were too hot for my likeing. back then i ran a carb and i think it helped boil the fuel in the carb. never checked but i bet it lowered temps under the hood 30 deg. |
